20 Pledges in 24 Months Says UWP - It’s Contract With the Dominica People

On Sunday, the United Workers Party (UWP) told its supports at a grand rally in St.Joseph that it was ready to bring a new kind of politics to Dominica and outline twenty pledges “that would create real change in the lives of the people.”

Party leader Ron Green said that “Dominica needs politics without corruption, without lies…but with more jobs, more opportunities for our youth, more transparency and accountability.

Standing before thousands, each of the twenty candidates contesting the December 18th 2009 polls on the UWP ticket swore to uphold and fulfill their pledges. Candidates pledged cont./
