A group of Dominican citizens residing in Europe have planned an event expected to unite Dominicans here and in Europe.
The “Dominicans in Europe Paris Reunion 2009” is being held for the first time in Paris, France from October 2nd and 3rd.
“I decided that perhaps Paris would be a great place to have it and from there we decided to create an event to showcase Dominica,” said Natasha Henderson Executive Programme Coordinator of the Dominicans in Europe Paris Reunion 2009.
The highlight of the reunion will be the awards gala and dinner where several Dominicans are expected to be recognised.
A concert featuring leading Dominican artists here and abroad including Ophelia, Gordon Henderson and Exile One will also form part of the festivities.
